International firm Clyde & Co will transfer its private client practice to Scottish firm Gillespie Macandrew LLP next month.
As of 2 September, the six-person Edinburgh-based team, which provides services such as succession and tax planning, advice on powers of attorney and executry administration, will be part of the Scottish firm.
According to Clyde & Co, private client work is not a core part of its practice so when the opportunity to transfer it came up it was happy to do so. Financial details of the transfer were not disclosed.
The team, led by partner Nikki Dundas, originally joined Clyde & Co in 2015 following a merger with national practice Simpson & Marwick.
Gillespie Macandrew CEO Robert Graham-Campbell said: ‘I am delighted that this highly respected team are joining our leading private client group. We share a common commitment to the private client sector.’
