Commercial law firm Steele Raymond LLP has announced the appointment of new senior associate Simone Ritchie. Simone will join the firm’s top-tier-rated dispute resolution team, bringing with her a broad range of property litigation experience.
Simone is returning to her home town of Bournemouth having spent her career to date in Manchester, where she studied at the University of Manchester and Manchester Business School.
Since qualifying as a solicitor, Simone has amassed a very significant range of experience at DWF LLP and more recently Eversheds LLP, one of the world’s largest corporate law firms.
Her particular interests are dilapidations, development disputes, ratings disputes, arbitration and expert determination claims.
Simone also deals with professional negligence claims, injunction proceedings (particularly in relation to breach of covenant, infringement of easements, nuisance and rights of way), contested probate issues concerning property and agricultural disputes.
Simone frequently speaks at external seminars and conferences, having regularly been asked to provide training to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), local councils and to the Association of Chief Estates Surveyors.
