Four new partners are marking their promotions at Harrison Clark Rickerbys as part of a 15-strong round of promotions through every level of the firm, along with the formal opening of a new office in Cambridge.

Taking the next step in her career with the firm where she started as a paralegal 13 years ago, family lawyer Anita Hennessey, based in Worcester, has become a partner, along with colleague Victoria Fellows, based in Birmingham, who joined in 2016.

Anita, said: 'It has been a great journey with the firm, and I think it shows the scope there is here for developing a great career and broad experience. I am thrilled to have been promoted, of course, along with my colleagues across the firm.'

Joining Anita and Victoria at partner level are litigation specialist Alison Goodwin (Hereford), who has been with the firm since 2012, and corporate lawyer Rachael Reeves (Cheltenham), who joined in 2014.

Employment lawyers Oliver Daniels and Rebecca Kirk, family lawyer Maxine Reid, litigator Tom Williams and commercial lawyer Rachel King have also all become senior associates.

Lauren McGurk (probate), Rachel Newman (employment), Laura Shirley (licensing and regulatory) and Alex Wilson (family) all became associates, as did their colleagues David White and Elizabeth Wickson at sister company Medical Accident Group.

New senior partner Richard Knight said: 'These talented people richly deserve their promotion – recognising talent, commitment and dedication is very important to us, and I look forward to seeing all of them progress further in the firm.'
