A series of senior promotions have been made at midlands law firm Band Hatton Button.
Michelle Gavin, head of wills, trusts and probate, Tracy Cross, head of family, and Malcolm Thomas, partner in litigation have all been appointed to the firm’s board. The trio bring more than 60 years of collective law experience with them to the board, which now stands at nine members.
Three senior associates, Helen Bowns in family, Marta Fisher in corporate and commercial and Dina Parmar in commercial property have also been promoted to partners.
Mark Moseley, managing director at Band Hatton Button, said: ’All of these promotions are thoroughly well deserved, so I’m delighted that we are able to reward this particular group for delivering strong performances and being real assets to the firm.’
’Tracy and Malcolm have been with us for 20 years each so this is fantastic recognition for them, and given their long service, we felt it was important to have their voices heard at board meetings on important decisions that affect the business.’
’Michelle has been with us for three years and has made a real name for herself at the firm with the wills, trusts and probate team going from strength to strength.’
’It was important for us to achieve greater diversity on the board and these promotions will ensure that, while also providing a broader range of experience, views and ideas going forward.’
’Helen, Marta and Dina have all made positive impacts to drive their respective departments forward over the recent period. All three have made stellar contributions and have proven to be great ambassadors for the business and are particularly strong on the business development front.’
’As well as these raft of promotions, we have also recruited 20 new people into the business over the past year to cope with continued demand across a variety of departments, and the challenge for us for the year ahead is to achieve more of the same.’
