A new equity partner has been appointed at one of south Essex’s law firms, having worked his way up from paralegal to partner.
Adam Davis, currently a salaried partner of Palmers Solicitors, will become an equity partner of the firm with effect from 1 August 2017.
He joined Palmers Solicitors in April 2008 as a paralegal and completed the Qualified Lawyers Transfer process to qualify as a solicitor in September 2009. Adam was made a salaried partner in August 2015.
In his current role as a salaried partner, Adam has grown the firm’s construction department and, most recently, has been instrumental in the opening on 3 July 2017 of Palmers’ new office on Rayleigh High Street, where he is branch partner.
Adam said: ’I am delighted to have been appointed as an equity partner of the firm. Palmers is a dynamic firm and, as the opening of our Rayleigh office shows, there are some exciting developments underway.’
‘I am now looking forward to the future as we continue to grow our construction services and the firm as a whole.’
Carey Jacobs, a partner at Palmers Solicitors, said: ’We are delighted, and very proud, that Adam has become an equity partner in Palmers. Through his leadership of the construction team and his work to make our Rayleigh office a reality, he has shown great commitment to delivering the best and most accessible service to our clients.’
