London-based law firm Bristows LLP announces the promotion of senior associate Angela Fouracre into the partnership, effective from 1 May 2017.
Angela is a technology lawyer specialising in dispute resolution with extensive experience of advising clients on disputes arising out of IT, outsourcing and IP contracts as well as confidential information and copyright issues. She becomes a partner in the firm’s commercial and technology disputes practice which acts for clients such as Capgemini, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Google and Blizzard Entertainment.
Angela’s promotion follows the expansion of the team in 2016 with the hire of fellow technology disputes partner Anna Cook. Theo Savvides, joint managing partner, commented: ’Angela is an experienced and incisive litigator who demonstrates inspiring commitment to her clients and colleagues alike. She is a key member of the commercial and technology disputes team and has huge experience advising clients in the TMT and Life Sciences sectors. We are delighted to welcome her into the partnership’.
The promotion is part of a consistent period of growth for Bristows over the last 12 months, and follows the recent acquisition of a team of nine from BLP. In this time the firm has won the Legal Business TMT Team of the Year and The Legal 500 UK award for TMT Law Firm of the Year.
