Roberta Moscaroli has joined Dentons as a partner in the Italian tax practice. She will be based in the Rome office. A chartered accountant and auditor, she comes from DLA Piper, where she worked in the tax department since 2012.
Moscaroli will advise clients on corporate and international tax matters, including tax planning, structuring and transfer pricing. In particular, she has significant experience in assisting groups, financial institutions and investment funds in relation to the tax structuring of M&A, real estate, banking and private equity transactions.
Along with the new partner, chartered accountant and auditor Federico D’Amelio has joined as an associate in the tax practice in Rome. He was previously a tax adviser at Clifford Chance.
Andrea Fiorelli, head of the tax practice in Italy, added: ‘With the recruitment of Roberta and Federico, we have taken an important step forward in our goal to build Dentons’ tax practice into a market leader in Italy.’
With these two hires, Dentons continues its expansion in Rome. The office, which opened last July, now counts 13 professionals. Dentons now has 63 professionals in Italy.
