London-based law firm, HowardKennedyFsi, has announced two partner promotions – Robert Lawrie (litigation) and Katherine Miller (real estate).
Robert joined HowardKennedyFsi in January 2012 as a barrister employed in the litigation team. He specialises in a broad range of commercial litigation work and has extensive experience acting for corporate and individual claimants and defendants in domestic and international litigation.
This frequently involves multi-jurisdictional claims and asset tracing in a number of countries. Robert was previously a senior member of the civil litigation department at a leading specialist fraud firm.
Katherine is a partner in the real estate team, having re-joined after a career break. Katherine has considerable experience in the acquisition, funding and letting of commercial property.
She specialises in investment work predominantly for private sector clients and also undertakes asset management work for these clients.
The two promotions bring the total number of partners at HowardKennedyFsi to 85.
Paul Millett, joint-managing partner at HowardKennedyFsi, said: ‘These promotions are well-deserved and come at a vital time in the firm’s growth following our recent merger with CKFT.
‘Robert and Katherine have already made significant contributions to the firm and have an understanding of the sectors and issues that are important to the clients we work with. Both are outstanding candidates and will prove to be great additions to our partnership.’
