Commercial law firm Howes Percival has expanded its commercial property team in response to a significant increase in its caseload. Hannah Bordiss has been appointed as an associate to the firm’s Northampton office.
Hannah Bordiss is experienced in advising clients on a broad range of commercial property matters including freehold and leasehold portfolio acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters and property finance, acting for both corporate entities and individuals.
She has extensive experience of asset sales and purchases. She has particular specialisms within the retail and leisure/hospitality industry including acting for national and regional operators and corporate landlords and tenants.
Hannah was previously an associate at EMW LLP and in her new role she will work across Howes Percival’s Northampton and Milton Keynes offices.
John Herd, partner at Howes Percival, said: ‘I am delighted to welcome Hannah to the firm. Our reputation is based on recruiting the best people and having seen Hannah in action on the other side of a transaction recently, I know she will be an excellent addition to the team.
‘We are now seeing some very encouraging signs of recovery, and confidence in the property market is starting to grow. We’ve increased our capacity to respond to market developments and our team is well placed to support local businesses with property requirements.
‘We have experienced a marked increase in our caseload in recent months with instructions in both Northampton and Milton Keynes picking up, so Hannah’s appointment is very timely indeed.’
