Travers Smith LLP has appointed Stephen Whitfield as head of competition.
Whitfield has acted for clients in UK, EU and international merger control cases, UK National Security & Investment Act reviews, cartel investigations and competition law litigation matters. He covers sectors including technology, financial services, infrastructure, utilities, life sciences, construction, sports, media, consumer products and brands.
Whitfield succeeds Nigel Seay, who will continue as partner in the competition team.
