National law firm Stone King has made two significant hires with the appointments of Dr John McMullen and Tom Morrison to its Leeds office.
Dr John McMullen joins the firm’s Employment team as partner, while Tom Morrison joins as both partner and Head of Further Education.
John has 30 years’ experience in employment law and is also the author of a number of publications including Business Transfers and Employee Rights.
He is also Visiting Professor of Law at both Leeds and Durham Universities, and has a MA and PhD from the University of Cambridge.

Tom was previously Head of Education at Rollits and will lead Stone King’s national Further Education Practice. He also has considerable experience in acting for Schools and will lead our Education team in the North. Tom is a contributor to national legal publication New Law Journal and author of the Further Education section for WestLaw.
