Law firm TLT has appointed Steve Downey and Mark Thomas as partners to its national structured finance practice.
Downey, who joins TLT from Squire Patton Boggs where he was a legal director for almost a decade, has over 15 years’ experience working as a City lawyer. He has worked on securitisation, receivables finance, asset-based lending, structured lending and bridging, development and commercial lending.
Thomas was formerly head of structured finance at Squire Patton Boggs and, previously, Addleshaw Goddard. He has over 26 years’ experience acting for banks, borrowers, originations, issuers, servicers and trustees in relation to UK and cross-border transactions. He co-leads the firm's structured finance practice alongside Rich Hughes.
