Hertfordshire law firm Debenhams Ottaway has welcomed senior associate Sarah Liddiard and newly qualified lawyer Millie Reynolds to the corporate and commercial team.
Liddiard, who joins from regional firm Machins, has nearly 20 years’ experience in commercial law. She specialises in helping clients, from small owner-managed businesses to UK branches of large multinationals, ensure that they have robust commercial contracts which facilitate growth and limit legal risks.
Head of corporate and commercial Andrew Yates commented: 'Debenhams Ottaway has a clear vision and ambitious growth plans and having the right people is key to achieving our goals. Sarah’s appointment reflects our continued commitment to building a team of talented lawyers to help our business clients achieve their ambitions and protect their interests. We are excited that Sarah is joining the team where she will play a pivotal role.'
Liddiard added: 'I am delighted to join Debenhams Ottaway, a dynamic, respected and in-demand team that has a proven track record for going above and beyond for its clients. The team has a refreshing approach to working in partnership with clients based locally in Hertfordshire and further afield in the UK and internationally. I am excited to contribute to the firms’ continued success.'
The corporate and commercial team also comprises partner James Brawn, senior associate Rebecca Lorne and Tara Tatti, who qualified into the team last year.
