Law firm Flint Bishop has welcomed partner Sanveer Sandhu to its commercial property team and senior associate Martin Cornforth to its employment law team.
Sandhu, who joins the firm from Bray & Bray, has over 12 years' experience working in top 50 and top 10 UK law firms. He is a highly experienced real estate solicitor, with expertise spanning a spectrum of commercial property work including: dealing with acquisitions, lettings and disposals of investment portfolios, property development, corporate support, and banking and finance work.
Sandhu has particular experience in the energy sector, having dealt with some of the largest solar, biomass, gas generator and battery storage projects in the country, with a typical developed value of between £20-£80m.
Cornforth returns to Flint Bishop from Cartwright King Solicitors. He has over 14 years' experience advising organisations on employment law across a range of sectors including: manufacturing, construction, health, education and charity.
He has a particular interest in matters involving discrimination and mental health in the workplace and regularly conducts litigation relating to unfair dismissal claims, TUPE rights and discrimination claims in the Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal.
