Yorkshire firm Legatus Law has made two key appointments.
The firm, founded by Rashmi Dubé (pictured, top right), has taken on lawyer Naeem Siraj and paralegal Minal Supri to join the team at the Leeds-based practice.
Since launching in 2013, Legatus has opened a base in the City of London, which has just celebrated its first birthday, and Naeem and Minal will also support work on behalf of clients based in the capital.
Naeem (pictured, second right, top) was called to the bar in July 1993 following a career in banking. He specialises in judicial reviews, planning, environment and public law and will complement the firm’s specialism in mediation.
Minal (pictured, second left, top) is currently in her third year of a law degree at the University of York and has a background in accountancy. She moved from Sydney to Leeds in 2005 and has since worked for some of the leading independent accountancy firms.
Rashmi said: ‘Naeem and Minal bring a huge amount of experience and knowledge to Legatus Law allowing us to give an even more comprehensive service to our existing clients and expand our range of services available to potential clients.
‘After 18 months, I am thrilled to be expanding Legatus with more clients signing up from both Yorkshire and London. The growth is a testament to the hard work that my team have put into the firm so far and I am looking forward to continuing to expand in the months ahead.’
