Osbornes Law has appointed four new family lawyers in its Hampstead office.
Partner Yael Selig, consultant John Burrell and senior associate Lara Myers all move from Ince & Co and will be joined by lawyer Victoria Plisson, formerly of Kingsley Napley.
Selig, who will lead the Hampstead team, is a qualified solicitor and barrister in Gibraltar, where she was born, and in England and Wales. She is fluent in Spanish and often advises clients on foreign agreements and their compliance with English law. Selig is a member of Resolution as well as being a trained mediator and collaborative lawyer.
Myers, also a member of Resolution, specialises in all aspects of the divorce process, including financial issues and child arrangements.
Burrell has over 40 years’ family law experience, in particular in addressing the impact upon the adults and children involved in a relationship breakdown, as well as in the preparation of pre and post nuptial and co-habitation agreements.
Plisson recently passed the Paris bar exam and is a qualified New York attorney. She handles all aspects of family law work with a focus on Anglo-French cases.
Mark Freedman, partner and head of the family law team at Osbornes, says: 'I offer a warm welcome to Yael, John, Lara and Victoria. I attended university with Yael, and I am delighted to be reunited with her in practice. She brings an energy and drive that I know will ensure the Hampstead office is a huge success.'
Osbornes, which celebrated its 50th anniversary this year, will move from its former Hampstead High Street premises into 10 Flask Walk in December.
