Nottingham law firm Actons has appointed Julie McCrery and Sophie Spreckley to its family law team.

McCrery joins Actons as head of family law, and Spreckley joins as an associate.

Simon Dakin, chairman at Actons, commented: 'The appointment of Julie and Sophie is a real coup for Actons. It marks an exciting milestone as we further strengthen our ability to provide clients with high-quality Family Law advice following the recent retirement of Mike Spencer. McCrery and Spreckley are both members of Resolution.

McCrery added: 'I’m thrilled to join Actons.
