Law firm Thrings has welcomed partner Salma Maqsood to its commercial property service.
Maqsood joins the firm from Barcan+Kirby and has almost two decades of legal experience in the residential development sector. She has acted on behalf of SME developers in all aspects of property transactions.
Maqsood serves as junior vice president for Bristol Law Society and as a social mobility ambassador for the Law Society, mentoring aspiring solicitors and students from all backgrounds. She is also a founding board member of the Ethnic Solicitors South West Network.
Her arrival signals Thrings achieving gender parity at partner level, with the firm’s partnership evenly split between men and women.
