Top-100 law firm Moore Barlow has appointment partner Richard Burgess to its private wealth team. 

Burgess will join Moore Barlow from his joint roles as director and senior solicitor at professional services firm Moore Kingston Smith, where he has spent the last six years providing practical, tax and estate-planning advice to entrepreneurial private clients.

He has previously worked as a solicitor at law firm Lester Aldridge, where he advised high-profile and high-net-worth clients as part of the private client team. His work involved complicated family matters and the use of trusts.

Burgess covers estate planning and wills, trusts, estate administration, tax and lasting powers of attorney.

He said: 'I am extremely excited to embark on this next chapter of my career and share my knowledge and experience.
