City firm Norton Rose Fulbright has hired private equity lawyer Jamal Tuhin as a partner in London.
Tuhin, who joins from Dechert, acts for private equity and financial sponsor clients across Europe and the US on international and domestic M&A transactions. He advises clients who operate within sectors including life sciences and healthcare, technology and financial services.
Raj Karia, head of corporate, M&A and securities, Europe, Middle East and Asia at Norton Rose Fulbright, commented: 'The private equity market remains dynamic with strong deal flows and considerable "dry powder" that firms are looking to deploy. We are pleased to welcome Jamal to the firm and extend the breadth of our offering to clients. He has an excellent track record in advising on high-value, cross border deals and he will be a fantastic addition to our team.'
Tuhin commented: 'I’m excited to join Norton Rose Fulbright, a firm with an enviable global platform and a long-established presence across all major financial centres worldwide. I look forward to working with my new colleagues to support clients on complex deals and drive forward the firm’s private equity practice.'
Norton Rose Fulbright’s global team of private equity and venture capital lawyers represent a broad client base including global equity investors and sponsors, management teams and portfolio companies, as well as debt finance providers, on the range of private equity transactions.
