National specialist pensions law firm Arc Pensions Law has recruited lawyer Beth Brown as partner in its London office.
Brown joins from DAC Beachcroft. She has 14 years of experience advising both trustees and employers and has previously been seconded to the Pension Protection Fund. Brown has a particular focus on the insolvency, finance and governance aspects of pensions, notably advising trustees on employer insolvencies and transition to the Pension Protection Fund, sponsor refinancings and de-risking.
The firm also welcomes Sohail Khan as an associate in London, following his training at the Pensions Regulator.
Commenting on her appointment, Brown said: 'I am delighted to be joining Arc Pensions Law. The firm’s reputation in the pensions industry is unambiguously stellar, and I am excited about the opportunities at Arc.'
Managing partner Rosalind Connor said: 'We are delighted to welcome Beth to the firm, in what is another step towards developing the next generation at Arc Pensions Law. Her top-flight experience across a broad range of pensions matters makes her an excellent addition to our team.'
Arc Pensions Law was founded in June 2015 and is the first specialist pensions law firm to be launched in over 30 years.
