International firm Osborne Clarke has appointed Jane Park-Weir as a partner in its commercial disputes team.
Park-Weir specialises in contentious corporate and commercial work. She has 16 years’ experience in corporate and commercial dispute resolution, investigations and providing anti-corruption corporate transaction support.
She has a particular focus in disputes involving shareholders, breach of directors’ duties, joint ventures (in particular LLPs), and other issues arising under the Companies Act.
Leona Briggs, head of Osborne Clarke’s disputes and risk practice said: 'Our Disputes and Risk practice has experienced impressive revenue growth in the last three years. It’s our ambition to keep growing the practice and having Jane on board will give us the bench strength to achieve this. Jane’s a natural fit for the team.'
Park-Weir started her career working on contentious insolvency, fraud and asset tracing. She joins from Norton Rose Fulbright and will be based in Osborne Clarke’s Reading office.
