Clyde & Co has appointed medical negligence specialist Anthea Lane as partner, where she will head up a new healthcare practice in Southampton.
Lane has over 20 years’ experience in defending and managing clinical negligence matters on behalf of the NHS, as well as medical defence organisations. She joins from DAC Beachcroft where she has worked since 2001.
She has particular expertise in complex birth and neonatal injury cases, as well as claims arising from spinal and surgical neuro injuries.
Working alongside Lane in the new healthcare team are senior associates Bryony Steele, Dominic Sansom and Sebastien Kelly who also join from DAC Beachcroft.
