Law firm Cripps Pemberton Greenish has welcomed lawyer Nick Gova to its family law team as a managing associate.
Gova has expertise in dealing with matters with an international element, with particular emphasis on Shari’a law and Islamic divorce, having fostered strong relationships with the Islamic Shari’a Council (an authoritative body for Islamic law).
Head of Cripps’ family team Alex Davies commented: 'We are delighted that Nick will be joining the team. His experience in dealing with sensitive family matters, including overseas and religious marriages, places him uniquely within the market.
'He will be an excellent addition to our ever-growing London team, joining fellow experts in family law, mediation and collaborative dispute resolution practices.'
Gova added: 'I am thrilled to be joining the family team at Cripps to further develop their family law offering. The team already boasts a strong national reputation for dealing with high-net-worth individuals and complex matters, with a high calibre of lawyers.'
Gova joins the firm from Harrison Clark Rickerbys where he headed up the London family division.
