National law firm Reeds Solicitors LLP has recruited Crown court case worker and accredited police station representative Peter Harper to its Bridgend office in South Wales.
Harper has over 40 years’ experience in criminal law. He joins the firm from Redkite Solicitors who are no longer accepting criminal defence cases. It will pass these cases on to Reeds through Harper.
Over the years, Harper has managed some of the most serious cases in Bridgend including murder, drugs conspiracies, and defending complex prosecutions.
Jon Wilkins, partner in charge of Reeds’ growth strategy in Wales, commented: 'We are pleased to welcome Peter Harper to the growing complex crime team in Bridgend. His gravitas and vast experience defending clients charged with some of the most serious crimes in South Wales will be a welcome addition to our current offering.'
Harper added: 'I am excited to be joining the team at Reeds and passionate about serving the local community. To be in a position to continue to do so, as well as to grow my practice, is a privilege. As Redkite will be referring their criminal work to me, I will be able to work from Reeds whilst maintaining a close working relationship with old colleagues something that I am looking forward to.'
