Insurance risk and commercial law firm BLM has appointed Jason McNerlin as partner to its London office.
McNerlin joins as head of product recall and liability, having trained and worked as a solicitor at BLM between 2000 and 2004.
His 20 years of experience includes drafting recall and contamination insurance policies, and advising domestic and international insurers on policy validity and coverage issues arising from major product incidents. He also advises on defence and recovery.
The product recall and product liability specialist has dealt with food withdrawals and recalls involving microbiological contamination, undeclared allergens, mislabelling, tampering and chemical contamination. He also has experience advising on automotives, toys, cosmetic products, industrial equipment, and pharmaceuticals.
