London law firm Howard Kennedy has appointed Marc Naidoo as a banking and finance partner. 
 
Naidoo, formerly a partner at McGuireWoods and previously at White & Case, represents banks, development finance institutions and lenders in cross-border transactions in emerging markets (Africa, Asia and the Middle East). He has experience in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) work and sustainable finance.

Naidoo was previously seconded to the African Development Bank acting on financing transactions across Africa in multiple industry sectors, and Standard Chartered Bank as a founding member of its sustainable finance team.

He has advised the European Commission on aspects of blue finance (an emerging area in ESG financing that relates to the ocean and water bodies) and was a contributor to the Abu Dhabi government’s white paper on sustainable finance.
