After four years with the firm, Tom Davies has been appointed as a partner of Bedell Cristin in its London team, with effect from 1 September 2017.
A specialist in advising on Jersey structures in relation to overseas real estate investment, Tom has wide experience in the sale and purchase of Jersey asset holding structures and in general corporate and commercial transactions. He has 14 years’ experience in advising on Jersey law, working initially in Jersey, then for 12 years in London. He joined Bedell Cristin as a senior associate in 2013 from another leading Jersey law firm.
Recognised in the leading legal directories for his exemplary client care and transaction management skills, Tom is chairman of the IPF (Investment Property Forum) Next Generation Committee and serves as the firm’s liaison with the Association of Real Estate Funds.

The firm has also announced a number of other promotions which take effect this month.
Donna Withers has been appointed head of probate and wills in the Jersey office. Will Austin Vautier (employment and financial services law), Amy Fairfoull (financial services law) and Natalie Harris (property) have been promoted to senior associate in Jersey, and Jasmin Semlitsch (litigation) is appointed a senior associate in Guernsey. Jane Needham becomes an associate in the property team, Phil Kendall (financial services law) and Nicole Cox (Legal Aid) have been appointed legal assistants, David Panter has been appointed financial controller, and Ellie Cousins steps up to senior HR manager, all in the Jersey office.
