A batch of youngsters began their legal careers last week after taking up apprenticeships with international firm DAC Beachcroft.

The five apprentices, who began the level 3 advanced apprenticeship in legal services, will be working in claims solutions, corporate recovery and insolvency teams.

Larissa Bayliss, 18, (pictured, centre) opted for the apprenticeship rather than go to university. ‘This is a great chance to begin working for a very prestigious firm and receive training at the same time,’ she said.
