Help us give veterans the support they deserve

Thousands of veterans across the UK are battling pain, trauma and isolation decades after taking off their uniform.

Help for Heroes supports veterans, their families and civilians who’ve worked alongside our military to live well after service. We provide one-to-one clinical treatment and counselling, specialist equipment, home adaptations and a wide range of therapies and community-based exercise and social activities for veterans struggling with their physical or mental health. We also help with housing, finances and educational courses; and put pressure on Government to do more for the Armed Forces community.

We support some of the most seriously injured veterans in the country: those with serious brain and spinal injuries or who have lost their eyesight and limbs. We offer expert and continuous help to veterans with complex needs, including round-the-clock care; and we’re here for their families and carers too.

Your legacy will save and change lives

Of the 4,000 veterans we helped last year, 2,400 were helped thanks to gifts in Wills from kind and thoughtful friends like you. Legacies let us promise and provide life-long support to those who sacrifice so much for us. Since 2007 we’ve helped more than 32,000 people but we know many more still need care.
