While I have great sympathy with the problems faced by courts, there is no funding available for litigants in person. Now that courts are asking if you would like to look after the clients for free, it is becoming rather embarrassing. Quite simply, the judges are aware that we all help the wheels of justice move effectively and efficiently. The powers that be seem to have overlooked that point. As much as I would like to assist, unfortunately I too have a mortgage to pay.
