Leftist agenda

I refer to your article ‘Justice attacks lack of diversity in the judiciary’ (1 May).

Contrary to what the group misappropriating the name of ‘Justice’ demands in the way of advancing the interests of its self-appointed client racial groups, we don’t need a neo-Soviet-style ‘diverse’ judiciary.

What we need is what we have always needed: the best-qualified judges who will judge strictly according to our laws without fear or favour, and especially without any political agenda, whether leftist and internationalist, or any other.

We now therefore urgently need a root-and-branch reform of the Judicial Appointments Commission to eradicate its leftist political bias.
