I read with interest that the number of judgments against businesses has fallen to its lowest level since the 2008 crash and is now less than one-third of the 72,000 judgments recorded in the first quarter of 2009.

I suspect this is more due to the 600% or so increase in up-front court fees that SMEs have had to bear rather than the improving economic situation.
