This has led to the introduction of the office dog walker, a lucrative new occupation. One of them told me that you can easily identify their masters by their daily habits.

The poodle spends its time looking dolefully for sympathy (probate), while the terrier is constantly pulling at the lead (office manager).

The retriever chases the ball and brings it back (litigation), the bull terrier appears to be rather satisfied with itself and well fed (commercial law).

The scotty spends its time exchanging contacts with other dogs (conveyancing), while the whippet looks starved, wondering where its next meal is coming from (criminal law).
