In his otherwise informative opinion piece on 10 February, Roger Smith said: ‘Roadtrafficrepresentation.com is a website that gives lots of free advice in exchange for winnowing out the more difficult, and lucrative, cases to handle in a traditional way’. This is incorrect.

RTR does not handle cases in a traditional way. Tailored advice on motoring offences is completely automated, and even where a visitor to the site then wishes to purchase representation in court, the brief to counsel is again fully automated.
