Two Britons living abroad - a second world war veteran, Harry Shindler (pictured), and a lawyer - appeal a High Court ruling that upheld the government’s decision to bar Britons from voting in the upcoming European Union referendum when they have been resident overseas for more than 15 years. They claim the legislation authorising the poll is illegal under EU rules on freedom of movement.
