Help Abbeyfield alleviate loneliness

Established in 1956 by Richard Carr-Gomm OBE, the Abbeyfield Society is a charity that provides housing, residential care and support to older people. It is its mission to fulfil Carr-Gomm’s vision of alleviating loneliness in later life by bringing people together. Abbeyfield strives to enhance the quality of life for older people by providing high quality accommodation in a stimulating environment and enabling them to maintain a socially active life.

Today, our dedicated caring staff and volunteers support older people in homes across the UK. Throughout the ‘Abbeyfield Family’, each house and home seeks to develop strong links within their own neighbourhood, so that they may collaborate with and put something back into the local community.

Gifts in Wills are crucial to support Abbeyfield’s efforts to strengthen its ties with local communities and meet the needs of an ageing population. Your support will help to ensure Abbeyfield can continue to build, innovate and enhance the lives of older people for generations to come.
