Kate Hincks, vice-chair of the Lawyers with Disabilities Division of the Law Society, was chosen from 30,000 People’s Champions to carry the Olympic torch through Royal Wootton Bassett on its journey around Britain.

Hincks has been volunteering since she was 11 years old and currently gives art classes to elderly and disabled people as well as legal advice. Also in the picture is fellow torch-carrier Dan McNaughton, a primary school teacher.
