We would love to tell you all about the goings-on of Ministry of Justice officials. We’d especially love it if the official records showed individuals having cosy nights with the Association of British Insurers while they were formulating the latest squeeze on claimant lawyers.

Sadly, we can’t. The MoJ’s webpage dedicated to ministers’ and officials’ gifts, hospitality, travel and meetings has now sat dormant since 19 October. The last available record goes up to June 2012.

An oversight, or a sign that ministers have something to hide? It would be nice to know.
