When Obiter first saw this photograph of Simon Sanger-Anderson, partner at Exeter firm Tozers, he naturally assumed that the firm’s lift must have been running slow and the impatient solicitor had decided not to waste another six-minute billing unit waiting for it.

But it turns out that Sanger-Anderson was in fact taking part in a charity abseil in the car park next to the firm’s office, in aid of Devon cancer charity Force.

He was joined by brave paralegals Michelle Beckett and Julia Moon, and marketing assistant Caroline Pritchards.

Obiter hopes Sanger-Anderson and his colleagues didn’t suffer the curse of helmet hair for the rest of the day.
