Leslie Tuck, solicitor at Harrogate firm Bywaters Topham Phillips has marked herself out as a cut above the rest. The civil litigator went under the scissors last week, chopping 30cm off her hair to donate to children’s charity the Little Princess Trust, which creates wigs for children rendered bald by medical problems.

This is the fourth time Tuck has donated her lovely locks and she estimates that she has given away a hair-raising metre-and-a-half in total. This time, though, was a little bit different as she had her hair cut live on her local radio station Stray FM.
