Everys Solicitors in Somerset will welcome Sally Taylor to its Taunton and Bridgwater offices from April 2 to mark her return to the South West.
Ms Taylor succeeded in assistant vice-president roles for Fuji Capital Markets Corporation and Barclays Capital before retraining to qualify as a solicitor in 2002.
Following a year in Brighton, where Ms Taylor set up a commercial firm of solicitors, she returned to the City to leverage her experience. She is now keen to use her expertise to assist businesses in the South West.
Ms Taylor said: “I was looking for a role that would allow me to use my experience and skills but within an environment that actively encouraged a strong and personal connection between myself and my clients. Everys places great value on the ongoing relationships they have with their clients.”

Roy, who joined the firm in February 2013 as part of a 14-strong real estate team from DLA Piper in Manchester, will now head up the BLS team and take over from John Lord, who will focus on growing the office’s dispute resolution and insolvency offering.

A former office managing partner at DLA Piper in Manchester, Roy specialises in real estate development and investment work, including corporate real estate occupier work.

In his new role, he will continue to help drive the expansion of the six partner real estate team, whilst also targeting considerable growth for other areas of BLS including corporate, commercial, employment, regulation, banking and insolvency / restructuring services.
